| Mild steel helmets get there grills either welded on directly or they use the lift latch system and are not physically attached. these grills are not painted! |

HELM RING |
| Q. Why does my helmet ring? |
| A. Your helm rings because it is hard without being brittle. If it makes a 'thud' kind of noise (without any padding) it is soft. Soft helmets dent. Hard helmets protect your head from dents! |
